GOURMET teasman Matt Cocken has shrugged off the disappointment of losing his King’s Road Teasmaker of the Year crown – and gone one better.
The beefy skip – beaten at the club awards dinner by kitchen rival Mama Mazumder – was instead named Yorkshire Tea’s national Teasmaker of the Year.
Matt’s prize is a posh weekend for two in Harrogate.
It follows him winning Yorkshire Tea’s monthly award in the August edition of All Out Cricket magazine.
Matt is also featured in this month’s edition along with Leon Watson, who also won a Gunn & Moore award.
